As gin lovers, we’re obviously a fan of the classic G&T. However, there are endless ways to get creative with those simple gin serves and make the most of the best spirit in the world. We’re always looking out for the next best mixer to enjoy with our range and we’ve got some tonic alternatives you definitely need to try out for yourself.
No tonic? No problem!
If you’ve found yourself short on tonic, fancy a taste of something different or just don’t like tonic – check out our favourite alternative mixers to pair with Didsbury Gin.
Fever-tree White Grape & Apricot Soda – Didsbury Gin Peach & Rose
We’re massive fans of the whole Fever-tree range at Didsbury Gin, but even more so after they launched their Soda collection! One of our favourite flavours from the launch was this, the White Grape & Apricot Soda. Designed for a simple mix to create a refreshing Spritz, we recommend pairing this with our bright and floral Peach & Rose gin.
Simply pour 50ml Didsbury Gin Peach & Rose into a glass filled with ice and top with the soda. Garnish with some fresh fruit – raspberries work great – and enjoy!
San Pellegrino Limonata – Didsbury Gin Strawberry & Sicilian Lemon
You’ve probably seen us shout about this one already, but that’s just because it’s that good! So good, in fact, that it was featured on Sunday Brunch last year.
The zingy citrus flavour of the Limonata perfectly complements the Sicilian lemon notes in our Strawberry & Sicilian Lemon gin. It’s a match made in heaven and thus, one of our go-to tonic alternatives.
Pour a double of Didsbury Gin Strawberry & Sicilian Lemon into an ice-filled glass, then top with the San Pellegrino Limonata and give it a light stir. Top with fresh strawberries and drink up!
Fever-tree Ginger Beer – Didsbury Gin Blood Orange & Ginger
This one’s perfect for when you want a bit more spice and bitterness. Fever-tree’s Ginger Beer offers a fresh zing of ginger to elevate the taste of our Blood Orange & Ginger gin. It’s warm, spicy and a great alternative to a classic tonic.
To a glass filled with ice, add 50ml Didsbury Gin Blood Orange & Ginger. Top with Fever-tree ginger beer and a blood orange wedge. You can even add a splash of lime to brighten the drink even more! Sip and enjoy.
Belvoir Raspberry Lemonade – Didsbury Gin Raspberry & Elderflower
Looking for something a bit sweeter, fruitier or Summery? Pairing Didsbury Gin Raspberry & Elderflower with Belvoir’s Raspberry Lemonade is the way to go. Lemonade is always a great option for a gin mixer, but this raspberry touch takes our wonderfully fruity spirit to the next level.
Add ice to a glass and pour in 50ml Didsbury Gin Raspberry & Elderflower. Top with raspberry lemonade and a squeeze of fresh lemon for an extra citrus kick. Stir gently, top with raspberries and enjoy!
Grapefruit Juice – Didsbury Gin Original
Didsbury Gin Original is the bright, vibrant and zesty heart of our whole range. It’s a citrus-forward London Dry that we recommend you pair with a wedge of pink grapefruit when enjoying it as a G&T. But, let’s take it even further and use grapefruit juice as the mixer!
This is a delicious combination, ideal for a drinker who loves a tart tipple.
Top 50ml Didsbury Gin Original with red grapefruit juice to taste. Garnish with a slice of grapefruit and enjoy. Take it a step further and add a splash of prosecco for a stripped back Spritz that packs a punch!
Not a fan of grapefruit but still fancy a more bitter, citrus mixer? Try out Bitter Lemon instead.
