Mulled wine is great, but let’s try something new. Mulled Gin is a winter warmer that’s perfect for cosy nights in.

150ml apple juice
50-100ml freshly squeezed orange juice, to taste
Cinnamon stick
Spices: try star anise, cloves or cardamom pods
Orange slice for garnish

Add the juices and spices to a pan, then heat gently until warmed through. Remove from the heat, strain into your drinking glass, then top up with gin. Garnish with a slice of orange and a cinnamon stick.

A sprinkle of cloves
½ grated nutmeg
200ml gin
800ml apple juice
50g demerara sugar (optional)
Juice of half a lemon or orange

45ml Strawberry and Lemon Didsbury Gin, 75ml champagne, 15ml lemon juice, 5ml sugar syrup.

Stir sugar syrup with lemon juice in the base of a cocktail shaker. Add Didsbury Gin, shake with ice and strain into a chilled glass. Top with champagne and lightly stir. Enjoy!
